2017 GHSA SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Inclement Weather Plan for Saturday, October 28
In preparation for the impending severe weather front approaching Columbus tomorrow morning, the following revisions have been made to the bracket schedule:
1. Game #13 in each bracket currently scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, will now be played at 10:00 PM on Friday night.
2. Game #14 in each bracket currently scheduled for 12:00 PM Saturday, will now be scheduled at 9:00 AM Saturday morning, with Game #15 (if game) following.
3. If we are unable to play games #14 and #15 Saturday, the undefeated team in the bracket will host the Championship Game(s) on Monday, October 30. Game #14 will be scheduled at 5:00 PM with the “if” game at 7:00 PM. A coin toss will determine the “home team” in each game regardless of the host school.
NOTE: Each school playing in game #14 shall have a representative at the lower level in the stadium @ 7:30 AM Saturday morning to discuss the situation at that time. Thank you for your cooperation with this revised schedule.
GHSA Elite 8 State Championships
Come join us in Columbus, GA at South Commons Softball Complex (400 4th St, Columbus, GA 31901) as the Lady Trojans compete in the GHSA Elite 8 State Championships.
Game 1 is Thursday at 11am on Field #3.

PLAYOFF INFORMATION
Tattnall will host Lanmark Christian on Wednewday October 18th in a 4:30pm DH.
The school administration is responsible for keeping the Gate. Cost is $7. No Golden Trojans passes are allowed for GHSA State Playoff events.
We will need workers for the Concession Stand and the Grill. Please continue to check SignupGenius to help out.
NEED HELP ON GATE AND CONCESSIONS ON 10-11-17
We will be playing a 6pm Varsity game vs Wilcox Co (22-1) on Wednesday, October 11th and need a few people to signup for Gate / Concessions. Please see SignupGenius to help out.
We will also need help on Wednesday, October 18th (DH) and 19th (if game). This has not yet been entered on SignupGenius because we don't know the game times yet.

*The 2nd Round of the Playoffs begin on Wednesday 10/18 (DH) and Thursday 10/19 (if game). Opponent and Times are TBA. The First Round is scheduled for Friday 10/13 and Saturday 10/14, so we won't know opponent and time until the weekend.

GMC beat MDS 8-0 in 5 innings. We will play at GMC Thursday at 6pm. We have the Cages from 5pm - 5:30pm. We will NOT dismiss early tomorrow. Wearing blue/blue with white accessories. At 3:15pm players should go down and get dressed and be ready to depart Tattnall at 4pm. Parent Transpo again. Let's go Lady Trojans.

Players will dismiss from school at 1pm on Wednesday 10/4 and depart Tattnall by 1:30pm. Parent Transpo. Our cage time at GMC is from 2:30pm - 3pm. Game time is 4pm. We will be in the 1B Dugout. GMC will play MDS following our game.
SOFTBALL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Congrats to our MS Softball Lady Trojans for winning their 9th consecutive Middle School League Tournament Championship on Saturday over GMC 16-1. Way to go. Proud of the season you've had. Coach Absher will be communicating with you on a mandatory "last practice" this week after school where you will turn in all of your CLEAN uniform supplies and equipment.
M 10/2: Region Tournament at Tattnall - 4:30pm MDS vs Glascock Co, 7:00pm Tattnall vs Lincoln Co. We will need workers for Gate and Concessions for both games. Please check SignupGenius.
T 10/3: Varsity Practice
W 10/4: Region Tournament (depends on what happens on Monday ... this could be at Tattnall or GMC). Please look for updates on Tuesday and be ready to host another DH. Check SignupGenius for work slots if it is at Tattnall.
H 10/5: Region Championship (possibly at Tattnall ... depends on if we're in it and who is left from the other side).

Varsity: Region Tournament at TSA on Monday, October 2nd
Tattnall will host two games in the first round of the Region Tournament. I will confirm game times with teams on Friday morning. Please check SignupGenius for confirmation of times and to sign up for slots to work. Game times should be:
4:30pm Stratford or FPD vs Washington-Wilkes
7:00pm Tattnall vs Lincoln Co
Don't forget to come out and support our MS Lady Trojans at MDS on Saturday as they compete in the MS League Tournament. Their first game is at 11am and the Championship game is scheduled for 3pm. Let's win it ... again ... #9inarow
