This is the last call for any player from our 2018 team to save a spot for 2019 season. Our roster spots are filling quickly. Parents and/or players please email me tidewaterhawks@gmail.com this way I can save a spot for you. Hope everyone is having a good start to the spring season as baseball season is right around the corner and some already starting their seasons. Summer baseball is coming up quick so please reach out ASAP. There are many fundraiser opportunities so please let me know and I can talk to you about those opportunities.

Tidewater Hawks 2019 Summer Baseball
Hello everyone,
I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving holiday. As players get ready for the end of the semester, spring and summer will be here before you know it. Our roster is filling up quickly. Due to this I wanted to reach out to all players from last season. If you want to come back there is a spot for you. We have great fundraising opportunities this year as well. With our new roster size (12 position players, 13 pitchers) players will get tons of playing time to truly work on their game. Please email me tidewaterhawks@gmail.com. Spots are filling quickly and would be great to keep as much of our core from last year as possible.

Return to play with the Hawks for 2019!
Hello everyone,
I have had interest in players coming to play for the Hawks in 2019. I am limited to roster spots and number of players at each position. Due to this players that plan to return need to let me know. I want to give you all first opportunity as I hope to return as much of the team as possible. The league has made major improvements to benefit you guys for summer 2019. If you'd like to give me a call and talk we can do that as well. Just let me know. Hope fall baseball is going well as most of you are in the heart of the fall season!

This is Head Coach Murray Ruggiero. I am returning for the 2019 season. Any player interested in returning this summer 2019 will be the best yet. Please reach out. There will be more ways to raise money with now having player work-study to pay off league fees. Hope to see you back for 2019 summer.

rain forces additional schedule changes
The Hawks vs Knights game has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 8th, at 3:00pm at Lakewood Park. - Friday's rain forces additional schedule changes. Make up games have been scheduled for Sunday, July 8th, and the semi-finals will now be played on Mon, 7/9; with the Championship Game on Tue, 7/10

Saturday's Hawks game moved to VWU
Saturday, June 30th - The Seagulls vs Hawks game has been moved to Virginia Wesleyan University. Start time will still be 10:00am.

Friday, June 29th - The Hawks 6/29 scheduled game vs the Suns will now start at 2:00pm at Lakewood Park.

Monday, 6/25 - Hawks vs Voyagers at VWU (10am) has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions as a result of last night's rain.
time and location change for Saturday, 6/23
Saturday, June 23rd - The Hawks will now play at Lakewood Park at 4:00pm, vs the Daredevils.
Friday, 6/22 - All games cancelled
Friday, June 22nd - all league games at both Virginia Wesleyan and Lakewood Park have been cancelled for today, due to unplayable field conditions.
