rain forces additional schedule changes
Friday's rain forces additional schedule changes. All Saturday games remain as scheduled. Make up games from Friday have been scheduled for Sunday, July 8th, and the semi-finals will now be played on Mon, 7/9; with the Championship Game on Tue, 7/10
rain pushes back start times for games at Lakewood Park today
Rain at Lakewood Park pushed back the start of the 3pm game until 4:30pm. The Legends vs Sea Monsters game is still on at Lakewood Park, and will begin following the conclusion of the early game and time allowance to dress the field. Estimated start time is now 7pm - 7:30pm.

Schedule change for Sunday, July 1st
Sunday, July 1st - The Legends 2:00pm game vs the Waves at Virginia Wesleyan remains unchanged. The second game of their scheduled double header has been cancelled, and the Legends will be playing a single game at VWU at 2pm vs the Waves.
Saturday - Important Parking Notice for Lakewood
Saturday, June 30th - Lakewood Park
The City of Norfolk is hosting a "huge" football clinic/day camp, with several NFL players and ESPN radio will be there.
The City is expecting very large crowds that will effect parking and we want to give our umpires, coaches and players a heads up. There is a scheduled lunch break for the football camp at noon, and we hope many will leave for lunch and open up some parking spaces for our league members, and to assist with the parking situation, the Norfolk Sheriffs Department will be there directing traffic.
We encourage all league members, staff, umpires and coaches to try to find parking in the parking lot closest to the first base foul line, however, the Sheriffs department should be able to assist us. The event should be over with everyone cleared out by 3pm.
Additional parking will be available in the church parking lot across the street from the fist base side parking lot.
