I coach Nick's babe Ruth team in Augusta and we just found out we have game tomorrow . We already are -1 coach so we both need to be in Augusta tmrw.:((
But ..Our boys need to play. It's been too long of a break already... Jeff Ross and his wife Heather have been so helpful all season..everyone has..
..I have asked Jeff to coach the team for us.I have also asked Jo Studholme to assist Jeff however he deems....Again - very sorry, Nick and I both love coaching these boys and wish there was we could be there. Good morning,I am going to ask Palermo to move our game to Friday.i also coach Augusta Babe Ruth team and that schedule has recently changed and we play Thursday. Plus Nicks CMS team has playoff after school that day.
I'm hoping Palermo can play Friday.Can everyone play Friday if Palermo can switch ?i am sorry this is impacting your schedule.

Early arrival Friday night for extra practice time
Great job last night China North.i think we all would like to see our boys improve on catching & throwing but between Julias softball and nicks 3 baseball teams he plays on , our avail nights are scarce .. So : we will be at the field by 5pm Friday for those of you who can get your son there early . We'll split the kids up and have a hitting station and a catch/throw station .please do your best to get there early ..with improvements in their defense we believe this team can outplay anyone . Pitch Hit Run ages 7 and up
Good afternoon, China Youth League will be hosting a local competition of Pitch, Hit & Run this Saturday (May 7th) at our fields with registration beginning at 9 am and competition starting at 10. The competition is held with separate boys and girls age groups. Age groups are as follows: 7-8 year olds, 9-10 year olds, 11-12 year olds and 13-14 year olds. There is no cost to compete, the competition will last around 3 hours and we will have our snack shack open that day. The pitching portion consists of attempting to hit a target hung on the backstop with 6 attempts. The hitting portion is done off a Tee with 3 swings and participants judged on length as well as straightness of the hit. The running portion is a timed run from second base to home. Individual winners in either of the portions has the opportunity to compete in the regional competition which will be held in Bangor at a later date.
