TryOuts for Tomorrow and Tuesday
Parents-- thanks for being so supportive during this season. Our 34-20 record wasn't where I expected us to be at the beginning of the year, then again, we were bit pretty hard by the injury bug, which is part of the game.
We've spent hours together watching our boys play ball this summer. Now it's time to go off and enjoy the rest of the summer without worrying about who is pitching or what our son's batting average is. It's time to let the boys relax and enjoy their time away from school.
Tomorrow and Tuesday are tryouts for our team. From what I have heard personally from all the parents, we have 10 boys coming back next season. So I am looking for 2 or 3 more boys to battle along with us in our 12u season in 2018. We are going to be picky, we are looking for elite level players only to fill out our spots.
This year's team does NOT need to attend try-outs, as you have already been invited back. If your son WANTS to attend tryouts to help the coaches interact with the boys that are trying out, all I ask is that they wear OBC gear and help the coaches during the try-outs. They will not be doing the drills like the other boys need to.
Thank you all for being an awesome group of parents. Enjoy the summer. See you when it's snowing out, when we will begin practicing inside the Civic Center once again.
Schedule Change for Today's Bracket Games
Because of heavy rains last night in Bourbonnaise, our 1PM bracket game has been moved back to 4:30 PM on Diamond Point field 3.
If we win that game, we have a semi-final game immediately afterwards. If we make it to the Championship, it will be played on another day very soon.
