Despite BBCOR bats having a standardized length to weight ratio (3-1), two bats of equal listed weights can feel completely different. The weight distribution of an end-loaded bat is concentrated at the barrel and away from the hands. The moment of inertia is high and the bat will feel heavier, but the upside of the weighted barrel is more force on contact and more potential for power. Because end-loaded bats are more difficult to swing, there are fewer options. And while all three are excellent power bats, the Louisville Slugger led the group as the premier power first design.
