Best For Balanced Hitters
Despite BBCOR bats having a standardized length to weight ratio (3-1), two bats of equal listed weights can feel completely different. The weight distribution of a balanced bat is more evenly spread out and has a lower moment of inertia. Balanced bats will feel lighter, allowing hitters to swing faster and control the barrel with less effort, but sacrifice some power to achieve the lighter feel.
