The Rawlings Icon Chosen One 2027 earned a 4.11/5 for balance, making it the bat's highest-rated player category. Players felt the weight was easy to maneuver, allowing for a quick and smooth swing through the zone.

The Chosen One earned a 3.67/5 for pop. Players experienced dependable results off the barrel, but still felt it did not live up to the electric pop of its two-piece counterpart.

The lightweight design made the bat harder to control in some cases, as stronger hitters felt they would swing too hard without enough resistance from the bat, leading to a messy swing. But contact hitters still felt the bat had excellent control, so the score balanced out a 3.56/5.
