Are your pitchers bringing the heat? Give fans a live look and coaches the data they need to drive player development.

From the scorekeeping menu in any baseball or softball game, tap Settings, then toggle on “Track Pitch Type” and “Track Pitch Velocity.” With our Pocket Radar integration, pitch speeds are captured automatically with no extra steps required.

Each recorded speed appears instantly in the GameStream play-by-play so fans can follow along in real time, while coaches can review performance after the game. If you’re live streaming video, pitch velocity also appears on the scoreboard — just like the pros.

Pair pitch type with velocity to get the full picture. Tracking both helps coaches make data-driven adjustments, monitor player development, and refine overall game strategy.

Track Average Pitch Velocity and Top Pitch Velocity

We’ve added two new stats to give you deeper insight into player performance: Average Velocity and Top Velocity. Identify peak moments, measure progress over time, and tailor training plans to help athletes build pitch velocity safely and effectively.
