Yes. The streaming kit was designed to work in outdoor environments.
Our new streaming kits are 12" W x 6.25" H x 3.75" D and feature a larger viewing window (8.5” W x 5.75” H) designed to accommodate a greater variety of devices and to provide a larger field of vision. The following devices can fit comfortably inside the streaming kit: iPhone, iPhone Pro, iPhone Pro Max, Google Pixel, Google Pixel Pro Samsung Galaxy, Mevo Start, GoPro Hero, GoPro Max
For baseball and softball, we recommend mounting the kit on the backstop fence near home plate.
If part of the fence is still showing on the view of your stream, pinch your fingers outward on your smart device’s screen to zoom in on the field of vision to remove the fence from the periphery.
No! You can use the GameChanger Streaming Kit for all sports. The kit comes with both a tripod and attached fence clips, making it suitable for filming in all types of settings.
The streaming kit features two metal clips and velcro straps to secure to the net. If the net moves too much to get quality video, we recommend setting the kit up on a tripod away from the net instead.
