GameChanger Strengthens Executive Leadership Team with Chief Commercial Officer and GM of Emerging Sports

Seasoned consumer, fintech, and retail leader Cynthia Kleinbaum Milner joins as Chief Commercial Officer; sports and media executive Brandon Rhodes named General Manager, Emerging Sports

GameChanger, the #1 rated youth sports app for scorekeeping, live streaming, statistics, and team management, a DICK’S Sporting Goods company, announced two key leadership additions in newly created roles. Cynthia Kleinbaum Milner has been named Chief Commercial Officer, and Brandon Rhodes has joined as General Manager, Emerging Sports.

In her new role, Kleinbaum Milner will oversee GameChanger’s commercial strategy with a focus on expanding the platform’s reach and deepening engagement with families, coaches, and athletes. Rhodes will oversee the continued growth of GameChanger’s presence in basketball and soccer, helping strengthen the platform’s impact across the broader youth sports landscape.

“GameChanger continues to increase the value we deliver to families throughout their youth sports experience, and bringing in leaders of Cynthia and Brandon’s caliber positions us to deliver an even better experience for those who rely on us,” said Sameer Ahuja, president of GameChanger and senior vice president of DICK’S Sporting Goods. “Cynthia has an incredible track record at some of the world’s most recognizable brands, and Brandon has built new sports properties from the ground up. Together, they will help us serve more families, more sports, and more moments that matter.”

Kleinbaum Milner joins GameChanger after serving as Chief Marketing Officer at MoneyLion. Prior to MoneyLion, she spent four years at Walmart in marketing and management roles, ultimately serving as Vice President of Marketing for Digital Acceleration, where she spearheaded the design and launch of Walmart+. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Bonobos and Gilt Groupe, and began her career in brand management at Nestlé in Mexico, followed by a stint in strategy consulting at Boston Consulting Group. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

“GameChanger sits at the intersection of technology, community, and a mission that matters,” said Kleinbaum Milner. “This is a product families love and rely on to stay connected to youth sports, and it’s built by a team that moves fast while thinking long term. I’m excited to help scale that impact and expand on how we reach families, deepening their engagement with the app, and unlocking new ways to celebrate the moments that matter most on and around game day.”

Rhodes brings more than a decade of experience building sports, media, and consumer brands. He joins GameChanger from Overtime, where he spent seven years in leadership roles across business development and new ventures. Most recently, he served as GM of OTX, Overtime’s boxing division, which he helped launch from the ground up. Before joining Overtime, Rhodes spent five years at PepsiCo working across Gatorade’s global business. He is also the co-founder of Awkward Games, a pandemic-born party game company that grew into national retail distribution at Target and Walmart and was featured on Shark Tank. Rhodes was recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and co-founded the Michigan Sport Business Conference, a leading student-run sports business event.

“Youth sports are evolving quickly, and there’s a tremendous opportunity to raise the bar for families, coaches, and players,” said Rhodes. “I’m excited to work with our teams across GameChanger to deliver experiences that make sports more connected, more accessible, and more memorable for everyone.”

GameChanger will continue to build out its leadership team in the months ahead and into 2026, including searches already underway for a Chief Technology Officer and a General Manager of Diamond Sports. This follows the appointment of Briana Larkin as Chief People Officer in June. Larkin joined GameChanger from ABInBev, where she spent eight years in various leadership roles, most recently serving as Global Vice President of People & Business Strategy. Together, these roles will further strengthen the company’s ability to deliver world-class technology, deepen its leadership across the youth sports landscape, and support the company’s broader vision to become The Home of Youth Sports
