Meetings/Dates
We will have a Parent Fundraising Meeting next Wednesday March 4th in the MVHS Library at 5:30.
A meeting will be held for players Thursday March 5th during lunch in Room 1 (Mr. Hutchings classroom) Any high school student interested in playing baseball is encouraged to attend.
Pitchers/Catchers week will run from March 23rd-March 27th; Tryouts will begin March 30th.

Hats
I am placing our order for hats in the next few days. If you want me to reserve a hat for you (fans/parents) please let me know as soon as possible.
Meeting 12/19
Just a reminder, we will have a parents meeting this Thursday December 19th at 5:30. Subtle change: the meeting will be held in the library at MVHS, not the cafeteria. I hope to see you there.
Clinics
Also, Keith Simmons will be holding a baseball clinic on Saturdays from 4-5:30 at the PITCH from December 14th to January 4th. The cost is $10. Please contact Keith at 691-4151
Baseball Meeting
We will have a baseball parents meeting next Thursday December 19th at 5:30 in the MVHS Cafeteria. I encourage parents of players Freshmen-Seniors to attend. Items to be discussed are the upcoming season. apparel orders, fundraising and a proposed Florida Trip for April 2021. Please help spread the word.

Baseball Meeting
The last thing you thought you would receive at the end of September is a message from me (I'll apologize in advance). Believe it or not, I'm already putting attention to our 2020 and 2021 seasons. With that being said, I would like to float the idea of holding a meeting sometime in October for all parents to attend. Please keep in mind, if this meeting is to occur, it is out of season and the targeted attendees would be those who consider themselves part of Parents of Medomak Valley Baseball. Items to be discussed would include but not be limited to the following:
Fundraising:
- Where does our money go?
- What can we do to make the process easier?
- What went well the past 2 years? What didn't go so well?
Trips:
- Potential out of state trip April 2020
- Potential Florida trip April 2021
Community Outreach:
- This one is big for me...we have asked a lot out of our community so far during my first 3 years (the money to go to Florida has to come from somewhere!). However, I don't feel the MVHS Baseball program has done anything to give back in any way, shape or form thus far.

Uniforms/Spors Awards
Reminder: Our Spring Sports Awards will be held tomorrow Tuesday June 18th at 6:30.
I am also missing several uniforms. Please turn them in ASAP!
Uniforms

When returning uniforms, please have the navy jersey/grey pants in one bag and the gold vests in another.
@Ellsworth
Our Northern Maine Semi-Final matchup @ Ellsworth will be held at 2 o’clock tomorrow June 8th. The bus will leave at 10 am.
BP 6/6
We will take BP on the field, 4:45-6.
June 6/7
Today's playoff game with John Bapst has been postponed due to field conditions. The game will be played tomorrow at 4 o'clock.
Practice today will be from 4:45-6 at Medomak Middl School.
Wednesday/Thursday
We will host #13 John Bapst Thursday June 6th at 4 o’clock!
Practice tomorrow Wednesday June 5th will be from 2:15-4.
Dismissal 6/4
Players will be dismissed from school at 1:30 today. Please be timely getting dressed, the field set up and getting our run/stretch/throw in. BP starts at 2:15.
Sports Awards

Sports Awards night has changed. It will now be held Tuesday June 18th at 6:30.
Tuesday June 4th
#4 Medomak Valley Baseball (13-3) will host #13 Caribou (6-10) Tuesday, June 4 at 3:30.
Friday-Monday
Friday May 31- No varsity practice
Saturday June 1- Scrimmage @ Maranacook. Bus leaves @ 1 o’clock.
Sunday June 2- Varsity practice 4-6
Monday June 3- Varsity practice 2:30- 4:30
(Edit Saturday June 1). Our softball team will host Presque Isle at 3:30 Monday. In order to support the girls, practice will begin immediately after school.

The JV practice is going to be ending early today (3:45). We will practice from 3:45-5:15. Please let me know if this causes any issues.

Today's game @ Oceanside has been postponed until tomorrow. Varsity practice will be on the field from 2-3:30. JV practice will be in the outdoor cage at 2:15.
