After a 9 inning championship game, the Varsity Wildcats became the 2019 TOB September Showdown Tournament Champions! All players contributed to the team's undefeated performance in the Tournament. Thank you to all who participated and supported our Champs! The coaching staff is already looking forward to what is sure to be an exciting 2020 Season! Winter Workouts start in January... Let's Go Wildcats!!!

2: Drop a check for $75 written out to WAC at the Athletic Office by Friday 2pm
3: Complete the TOB online waiver (only if you didn't play in a TOB League this summer)

All Returning SWR Players entering 10th-12th Grade: Please notify Coach Willi ASAP if you are available to play in the September Showdown Tournament for the SWR Wildcats. The tournament features a minimum of 3 games at local fields and a chance to get back on the diamond together. Cost is $75 per player.

What does it take to be an effective pitcher? If your first answer is "throwing hard", then this clinic is for you. The art of pitching extends further than velocity. Join us for a small group, 4 session Pitching Clinic focusing on "the things you don't learn in a Personal Pitching Lesson". Topics include...
Holding runners close, Pick-offs, Covering bases, Pitcher's role in rundown situations, pitch selection, pitching grips and explanation of types of pitches, backing up bases, Pitching backwards, Reading hitters weaknesses and tendencies, Footwork on fielding bunts, etc. Be there.

SWR 2019 Summer Baseball Camp July 8th to 12th!!!
Come join us for 5 days of small-group baseball instruction in the areas of Throwing, Hitting, Defense and Pitching! Learn the key fundamentals of the game while having fun. Camp days will include warm up, skills of the day instruction, group practice, a competitive skill game (with awesome prizes) and live play.

The entire baseball coaching staff like to thank and congratulate you all for a successful 2019 SWR Varsity Baseball Season! The streak of consecutive playoff appearances was extended to 34 years in a row! Congrats to our All-County Award winner, 5 All-league Award winners and our Academic All-League Award winner; they are all well-deserved. We will all remember the many exciting walk-offs and gritty come from behind wins!
