Awesome Training Today & Practice on Wednesday
Hello Team,
Awesome Training today! I loved watching our team work hard and learn some fast paced in-fielding.
Wednesday Practice 6-8 pm, HS Varsity Field. We will be continuing to work on fielding skills and situational awareness, preparing for our last tournament this weekend.

Team Dinner Memorial Park and Parent vs Player Kick Ball Game

We will be doing our dinner Potluck style, please bring a main dish to share. I will be bringing cookies for dessert.
After we eat, I thought it would be fun to have a Parents vs Players kick ball game at Memorial Park Field #4.

Super proud of our team, what a tough game
Hello team,
What a hard fought and close game. Tonight made me proud of the grit and resilience I saw in our players.
Hard work will beat talent any day, I saw so much of our hard work pay off in some crucial plays tonight.
Practice on Friday, 6-8 pm at the HS field. We will have the hitting machine. Be prepared to work on hitting and fielding.

Scrimmage Tomorrow: Wildcats 10U Travel Team
Hello Team,
We need to share the field with the 10U Travel Team tomorrow. To make up for some of our games that were canceled this weekend, we thought it would be a good idea to scrimmage tomorrow.

North Clackamas park is rained out Friday and Saturday. Our games are moved to Sandy HS, Friday at 6:00 pm and Saturday at 11:45 am.

Team Play List
Hello Team,
As we continue as a coaching staff to grow and refine character through the game of softball, mental toughness plays a huge part of successful play. As a competitive swimmer, I often relied on music to boost my mood and confidence.
From here on out, pitchers will only get faster and batting more of a battle. I thought it would be fun to play 10 seconds of your players favorite song as they get up to batt, tonight and this weekend.....and here on out.
Please email or text me your players favorite song by 3:00 pm today. I will make a play list to play at games and when they are at batt. I will also need a parent to be in charge of playing this play list when each batter comes up to batt.

12U A Pool and Bracket will play rain or shine this weekend
Hello softball family,
I just heard from our tournament directors for our CCGSA tournament this weekend. Because we are in the top bracket and pool, we will play rain or shine this weekend.
If the weather turns ugly then we will move to the turf fields at Clackamas High School.
The schedule might change due to weather so I would ask for your flexibility and pay attention to game changer.
White Jersey for Friday, Blue for Saturday and White for Sunday. I am so pumped for these games, I have been practicing our 'Pump.....Pump....Pump it up' cheer in my sleep. ;-)

CCGSA Tournament: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Hello Families,
This weekend we are seated in the "A Pool" for the CCGSA league, our rec league. Just a year ago, we were in the "C Pool" and ranked very low in this league. In a short amount of time, we are now in a bracket with the top teams in the County. This is truly exciting and a testament to the hard work put in by each and every one of our players this season.
With that being said, we could play a lot of softball games this weekend.
Our first game is this Friday night at 5:30 pm, at the North Clackamas Sports Complex; 5440 SE Kellogg Creek Dr, Milwaukie, OR 97222.
Our second game is Saturday at 8:30 am, same sports complex.
Depending on how we do, we will then move onto the Sunday Bracket play. If we do well, we could play three games on Sunday.
We are a strong team and I know we will do well this weekend.
I will be leaving Wilsonville around 4:00 pm on Friday afternoon and I am happy to carpool and take players to Friday Nights Game. We also have three families that can also help carpool on Friday and this weekend. Please text or email if you need help getting your player to games this weekend.

Practice Tonight At Varsity Filed
Hello Team,
What a great game against Sandy on Wednesday. I am so glad Michaela and I caught the last inning. More Home Runs and tremendously fierce playing. So proud of our team.
Tonight we will be practicing with the hitting machine and working on situational plays. I know 6th graders from Meridian Creek have outdoor school today. If you are not going to be at practice please email or text me.

Game Tonight at Varsity Field, Home Game Blue Jersey
Hello Team,
We have our last home game tonight at varsity Field. Be there at 5:45 pm to warm up, game starts at 6:30 pm.
Coach Ruth, Coach Andrew and Coach Parker will be running tonight game. My oldest has her last choir concert tonight and Michaela and I will not be there.
We will miss you but we will be cheering you on from the auditorium in the HS. Have an amazing game.

Team Event: Zoo Trip and Salt & Straw June 5th 3:30 pm
Hello Team,
We are rescheduling our team event for Sunday June 5th at 3:30 pm. We will be leaving Wilsonville at 2:30 to make our 3:30 reservation time.
We will be carpooling to the Zoo to check out some of the newer enclosures and animals. Then, we will head to Salt and Straw for a fun treat.
Please RSVP by Monday May 30th; text or email me that you can attend. I will be reserving tickets that day. The team is paying for players & chaperones Zoo entry fee and a treat at Salt & Straw.
Spending money at the zoo and snacks at the zoo are up to players and families.
I love the zoo and I am excited for our team event. Please let me know if you can come.

Practice Friday 5/27 and Monday 5/30: No Game on Monday, Game on June 1st
Hello Team,
Wow, what a great game last night. The first game we went to 5 innings and these ladies dug deep and showed tremendous resilience and grit. So so proud of them! I knew they could do it, once they decided to dig deep.
Friday: Our practice is moved to Memorial Field #5. There is a play off game at the HS on Friday Night.
Monday: Practice on the HS Field at 11 am. I moved it to the late morning so people could sleep in and hang with family and friends in the afternoon.
Wednesday: June 1st home game at Varsity Field against Sandy. I have heard through the softball grapevine that they are a really good team and beat Estacada. So lets bring our amazing grit from last night.
Our Team Mate Kaydence Eby broke her wrist as last nights game. She will be cheering us on from the sideline the rest of the season. If your player sees her at school, giver her some well wishes and let her know we are thinking of her.

Let's Finish Strong; the end is near & Fall Try Outs August 7th

I know at this time of year, about a month away from the end of school, I start to get weary and tired. Let's finish this season strong and look to the next.
-We have five weekday games left and one rec tournament and one NAFA tournament left.
-Monday's game: Start time 6:30 pm, please be there to warm up at 5:45. Best address for Corbett HS Turf Field: 35800 Historic Columbia River Hwy Corbett Or.
The Easiest access road is NE Evans and NE Pounder Intersection.
-Tuesday Team picture for our Banner: Meet at Memorial Park Field #4 at 6:00 pm. Everyone please bring your bat bag and gear for the picture.
-Wednesday's Game: Start time 6:30 pm, please be there to warm up at 5:45. This game will be at Clark Park in Molalla; 815 Shirley St Molalla, Or.
-We will have practice on Friday May 27th at the HS Varsity Field 6:00 pm and practice on Monday May 30th; I would like to have an earlier practice in the late morning, around 10 am or 11 am on May 30th.

In the Fall, our team will split. Many of our team members will be moving up to 14u in the Fall. I will be moving up to 14u with Michaela. It is completely up to you and your player whether you move up or not, if your player is currently in 5th or 6th grade.
As a 14uC team we will be making the transition to a C tournament team only, no more weekday games. Since our current 7th graders, in the Fall 8th graders, will be a year away from HS ball, this will be an important transition for them.
Fall tryouts is a great way to come together as players and coaches, got through an evaluation and see how much growth you have made as a player. It helps us as coaches to place players on a team that best suites their ability.

Team Event: Oregon Zoo & Salt & Straw
Hello Team,
I am planning a team event to the Oregon Zoo and then getting ice cream at Salt & Straw. We have several days to choose from; memorial day weekend or mid week. Our options are either Saturday May 28th or Sunday May 29th or on a Tuesday or Thursday mid week; either May 24th, May 26th.
Please text me or email me and let me know: One if you will be around for the memorial day weekend and are available for a team event on May 28th or 29th.
Two, if you would rather do a team event on a Tuesday or a Thursday May 24 or May 26th. Our last zoo reservation on a weekday is at 4:00 pm, that would mean getting the players out of school at 3:00 pm and carpooling to the zoo.
We also have a game scheduled for Monday May 30th, which is Memorial Day. Please let me know if you will be able to make this game. If we don't have enough players in town, we will reschedule.

Monday Game Rescheduled to Friday In Estacada
Hello Team,
We were able to schedule our game today in Estacada to Friday.
Please be ready to warm-up at 5:45 pm on Friday May 20th.
We will be playing at their JV Field. Once I have the address, I will post the details on our Game changer schedule.
If you can not make a game please text me on my cell phone. I often don't check who is coming on game changer but I do have my phone with me, most of the time.

Sunday Game at 10:20 am in Lebanon
Hello Team,
What a great day at the field. Even though we lost both games, the battle is not over. We did not give these games away, the other teams had to earn it.
We play tomorrow at 10:20 am at Lebanon Century park, turf field 1. 375 W Rose st Lebanon, Or 97355
If we win, we play for the bronze bracket championship at 1:20. If we loose we play on the same field at noon.
We had some firsts today; Kadence got her first hit of the season and Zoey got her first double with an RBI. We have grown so much in a short amount of time, I hope you are as proud as I am.

Team Bonding at Peachy Berry 6:00 -7:00 pm
Hello Softball Families,
Even though fields are open, they are open with an abundance of caution, due to the heavy rain tonight, during our practice time.
We will not be practicing tonight but instead, let's meet at Peachy Berry, and do a fun team bonding event. The team will be buying the players Peachy Berry.
Please pick up your player at 7:00 pm at Peachy Berry in Wilsonville.
I am happy to take players home if needed.
